Description:

THE ANCIENT SOUND OF MANTRA~Creating a Personal Practice

The sound of mantra goes back thousands of years. Sanskrit is an energy-based language. Each letter and each word carries and invokes a specific energy frequency. The word "mantra" means "to set free from the mind". It is a mental tool that can release us from mental habits and from the bondage of predetermined circumstances, ultimately leading to liberation, moksha or mukti. Undertaking the practice of mantra can change our lives.

In this workshop, participants will be lead through some gentle yoga to center and relax, journaling, an explanation of Sanskrit mantra and its benefits, details on a daily mantra discipline, the use of a mala (prayer beads)and guidance on creating your own personalized mantra practice. AREAS OF APPLICATION PRESENTED INCLUDE: Abundance, Health, Relationships, Addictive Behavior, Guidance & Protection, and Spiritual Advancement & Illumination. All levels are welcome. No experience is necessary.

For more information and to register, please contact The Yoga Space at 603.352.2686 or theyogaspace@gmail.com

*This workshop will be lead by Gretchen Carmel who currently studies under the direction of Namadeva (Thomas Ashley-Farrand), Sanskrit Mantra Expert and Vedic Priest. www.sanskritmantra.com.

I look forward to sharing the power of mantra. Please join me! OM and Blessings, Gretchen (Rajeshwari)
