Class Description:

This class is open to all levels of ability. Variations are frequently suggested to intensify or soften your personal practice.  This is a wonderful class for learning principles of mindfulness -- here-and-now attention, non-attachment, non-judgment/acceptance, and lovingkindness--in a deeply satisfying physical movement practice.  We have a few mats available, but please bring one if you have one. Classes are on a donation basis: pay as you are able and as you feel inspired.

About Rebecca Marshall:

I have been a student of yoga for nearly twenty years now and teaching multi-level Kripalu yoga classes for over ten. As my own practice has grown into the realm of sitting meditation, my teaching is reflecting this commitment to deepening moment-to-moment awareness and presence, non-judgment, and loving kindness. Likewise, as a developing mental health counselor, I am curious about the healing potential of yoga for many of our culturally pervasive mind/body ailments such as depression and anxiety. I invite you to come experience a gentle (though physically challenging), deeply satisfying way to be in and care for your body and your deep self. I currently offer one public class per week and am available for private instruction as well.
